As professionals, we rarely get the opportunity to feel the sense of smallness one has staring at a 50-story high glacier breaking off in to the turquoise Lago Argentino or the feeling of solitude that arctic starry night imposes.

On this website, aakko.com features trips to interesting parts of the world. The website is never finished as there are more places to go than time.

The first travel diaries published are from my recent trip to Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and El Calafate. I've also added a travel diary for Cancun, Mexico.

Also, I've heard good things about a book called 1000 places to see before you die (by Patricia Schultz). Maybe worth checking out, on the pursuit for new adventures!
